(Austin) - The following statement was released today by Speaker Tom Craddick in response to the FutureGen announcement:
"I am disappointed that Texas was not chosen as the site for the FutureGen project, as it has always been a leader in energy production. I would, however, like to congratulate the state of Illinois for its selection. This project will keep the United States on the cutting edge of clean energy generation."
