Interim Charges - Introduction |

This week, I announced interim charges for House committees. Interim charges are studies that I assign to our House committees that are performed during the interim, the time between legislative sessions. The purpose of these studies is to review current legislation and issues, which often leads us to come up with recommendations for future legislation. This provides us with an opportunity to continue addressing issues of concern and prepares us for the upcoming session. Since there are so many interim charges, I released them over a period of three days. Below, I have highlighted which ones I think are most important.
